Leonardo Gorosito

Leonardo Gorosito

Leonardo Gorosito is ELCO's director. He is originally from Argentina, graduated in the Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and received his PGCE qualification from the University of Bedforshire. Since 2006 Leonardo has taught Spanish at the Department of Continuing Education, University of Oxford. He is a linguist, a talented composer and his main interest is Hispanic Cinema. He is the voice for the Spanish Advanced Audio Courses by Michel Thomas.

Rosa Arias

Rosa Arias

Rosa is a Sociologist from Madrid who still believes a better world is possible. She enjoys teaching Spanish, especially because she thinks it is a way to learn different cultures and promote respect for others. Rosa loves dancing salsa and writing poems that always say too much about love. Her secret dream is being able to write a novel. Currently she also teaches at the department of Continuing Education. OUDCE.

Pilar Membrillera

Pilar Membrillera

Pilar is a "madrileña", a Biologist graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, where she worked in the environmental sphere until 1998. After moving to the UK she completed here the Teaching Adults Qualification and since the year 2000 has taught Spanish Language in Schools, Universities and Business companies in Oxford. Pilar is interested in politics, on women rights, environmental problems and cinema. Currently she is a lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.

Maria Roma

María Romá

María is a qualified ELE teacher; In Murcia she received her Master Degree in Tourism and worked for an NGO involved in Cooperation for International Development. María is someone who not only cares for her students but more importantly encourages them to excel in whatever areas they want to investigate. She is originally from the Spanish South coast, where she lived and studied until 2009 when she moved with her family to Oxford. Here she teaches for ELCO and for the Oxford Adult Learning Courses run by the Oxford Council.

Alejandro Okret

Alejandro Okret

Is a native teacher from Argentina and graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received his masters degree from the University of Oxford. He also teaches business Spanish in London and since 2006 has worked for ELCO. His ability to interact with fellow people makes his conversations interesting, lively and enjoyable. He has an admirable capacity to connect with people, and through this connection, to achieve educational results of excellent calibre.

Esteban Hubner

Esteban Hubner

Esteban is the Senior Tutor; he studied International Relations and Political Science, a PGCE in Modern Languages and a Master in Applied Linguistics at the University of Oxford. Currently he carries out research on Second Language Acquisition at the University of Salamanca. Esteban is a talented linguist, with a very international backgroung that becames evident in each of his sessions. He teaches at Department of Continuing Education, University of Oxford.
